The Foundation aims to

>> Educate the public about the social, economic, political and cultural history of Ukraine and of Ukrainians worldwide by organizing and sponsoring conferences, seminars, workshops;

>> Conduct research for the benefit of the public into the social, economic, political and cultural history of Ukraine and of Ukrainians worldwide;

>> Advance education by providing scholarships and bursaries to elementary, secondary and post-secondary students in Ukraine and to Ukrainian students worldwide; and

>>Advance education by providing research and teaching fellowships for the purpose of scholarly research into and teaching about the social, economic, political and cultural history of Ukraine and of Ukrainians worldwide.

The Foundation also holds conferences, seminars, workshops and courses open to members of the public who wish to deepen their understanding of Ukraine. Other projects include the provision of grants supporting scholarly research and the publication of books about current Ukrainian issues. Many other projects are in the planning stages.

“The Foundation is an extension of my father’s work,” said Ms. Danyliw. “Our family and those who worked around him saw how profoundly he gave of his life. He was always willing to donate time and money to promote right education and higher knowledge for Ukrainian studies. His devotion and enthusiasm left a legacy that this Foundation will continue to embody and realize.”
