On-campus Native Teacher Education Program

The certificate program, scheduled part-time over two-years, is offered to individuals who are First Nations, Inuit or Métis. The program consists of work in a classroom, courses, and practice teaching. Courses are delivered in Ottawa or in First nation, Inuit and Métis communities during the summer. Fall and winter courses are delivered by distance education. There are 60 days of practice teaching during the two-year program.
