MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN

Now more than ever, a degree in engineering or in computer science can open the door to many exciting and challenging career opportunities. At the Faculty of Engineering, you can choose among a vast array of undergraduate programs in engineering and in computer science that will provide you with a strong foundation on which to build a rewarding and successful professional career.

An optional co-op education stream is offered in all programs. In addition, an option in management and entrepreneurship that allows students to acquire highly demanded business and organizational skills is available in all undergraduate programs offered by the Faculty with the exception of biomedical mechanical engineering. These option and program allow students to acquire some of the complementary skills that are and will continue to be in high demand. Through the newly established Faculty’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Endowment Fund, all students also have the opportunity to participate in annual competitions in entrepreneurship and innovation to further develop their business and communication skills. Furthermore, the Faculty is the only engineering school in Canada where undergraduate students can study in either English or French for all or part of their program of study.

Home to 2,200 undergraduate and 900 graduate students, close to 200 regular faculty and staff members and many part-time professors, the Faculty of Engineering is a major player in education and in the advancement of knowledge in Ontario, in Canada, and beyond.

Sincerely,
