L'ACET/CAST a été fondée le 11 janvier 1973. Elle regroupe les établissements universitaires offrant des programmes de traduction et leur sert de forum d'échange dans le but d'assurer aux traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes la meilleure formation professionnelle possible.
ACET/CAST was founded January 11, 1973. It groups together universities offering translation programs and serves as a forum for them to ensure that their translators, terminologists, and interpreters receive the best possible training.
