Human Resources Reporting

  • You can create a graph by using the data from a report. see example
  • The report and graph can be saved by using the Save as Pinned Report option. If you want to reproduce the graph you run the saved report. see example
  • If you click on any part of the graph; for example on one of the bars, you get the detail that was used to produce the graph. see example
  • You can save a graph in two formats:
    • As an image in a JPEG format, which allows you to insert the graph into a document (eg; MS Word, Excel, Power Point);
    • As a document in a PDF format.

Budget and Forecasting

  • The data entry pages have a new look.
  • There are three menus you can choose by selecting the desired tab.
    • Application Info: There are two sections;
      • A message bloc where Financial Planning displays news and comments.
      • Web links to access the Budget Users Guide and and video clips.

  • Status Report Options
    • Advanced Options and Pinned Reports are now available in Budget Transfers (formerly Fund Transfers) same as in Development Entry. However, when you run a report you must enter the field Budget Transfer number (# FT) in uppercase letters to execute the query (ie FT021126 – instead of ft021126). see example
  • Approval history
    • The history of the budget transfer approvals is now included on the same page as the transfer (bottom left), you no longer need to open the transfer PDF format to view the approval history. see example
  • Diskette pencil icon
    • When entering a budget transfer, you can change the amounts of another line already saved without having to close the current line. Simply select the diskette with the pencil icon.

  • Account description
    • You can now see the account description in Development Entry. see example

Finance Reporting

  • In Operating Statement, a line called Total Salaries & Ben. was added which includes the sub-total of three sections: Salaires/Salaries; Avantages sociaux/Benefits; and Activ salariale non RH/Non HR Sal.. A line Total Expenses (excl. Salaries & Ben.) was also added.

  • There is now an option to download the data in a PDF format.

  • The date when a cheque was cashed is now displayed in Document Lookup in the Date Cashed column; or in Operating Statement when drilling down to Form: CFOAPALDetail – Cashed column.

Purchasing Card (Pcard)

  • Monthly Statement
    • The lines of a split transaction are grouped and the total of the transaction is now displayed and included in the printed PDF document.
  • Statement view and Edit transaction pages
    • These two pages are now one page, it allows you to reconcile transactions while viewing the summary of your transactions.
  • Display options
    • Navigation arrows and record count:  Press the navigation arrows to show the first, previous, next or the last set of transactions. The number of transactions per page and total number of transactions are listed;
      • e.g.: 1-50 of 168 transactions.
    • Grid Height: For those who have a larger screen, it is possible to adapt the size of the grid to the size of your browser window.
    • Records per page: You can select the number of transactions to display on a page. When you have more than 15 transactions per page, you can adjust the grid height to view more transactions.
  • Remodeled look of screens
    • The new version of the U application now features the same look and feel as the other FAST applications.
  • Grouping by department
    • We can now group cardholders in a department and grant access to those departments to the designated coordinators.

WebRequisitioning

  • The requisition has a new look. Some icons have moved to the bottom of the screen.

    • Attach Additional Information;
    • Add/Edit Requisition Note;
    • Submit for approval is now on the right;
    • In the Accounting key section (FOAP - Accounting Items) you can search by the magnifying glass to find a fund or an organization or an account.
  • Display options
    • You have the ability to adjust the size of the grid height in the Commodity Items and in Accounting Items sections for requisitions that contains many items.  This allows you to view more or less details.
  • History of a requisition report
    • In the field Created By your buyer’s code is automatically defaulted.
  • New option - Pinned Reports
    • Prepare a weekly or monthly report on requisitions, using specific filters. The report can be saved, pinned, reused and even updated as needed.
