On the heels of Canada’s success at the 2018 Olympics, the excitement of elite competition will continue at the Paralympic Winter Games, from March 9 to 18. A total of 55 Canadian athletes will travel to PyeongChang, South Korea, to participate in six sports, including para-alpine, para-snowboard and wheelchair curling.

Among the 26 support staff joining the Paralympians are two graduates of the University of Ottawa:

John Coleman (BSc ’03, MA ’05, PhD ’12), the sports psychologist for the para Nordic athletes

Lindsay Bradley (MD ’10), the para ice hockey (sledge hockey) team doctor

The University wishes all participants success!
