Need a doctor? Register with UOHS

Students and employees at the University of Ottawa and Saint-Paul University can register with a doctor at UOHS.  To register with one of our doctors, complete the online registration form, contact us at 613-564-3950, or visit our clinic at 100 Marie Curie.

Request an appointment

Already registered with UOHS? Patients currently registered with the clinic can now request an appointment online.  You can also contact us by phone at (613) 564-3950 or visit our clinic at 100 Marie Curie to book an appointment.

When calling to request an appointment, you will be asked to provide your birth date and the reason for your appointment (i.e. physical examination, PAP test, follow-up for test results or regular appointment).  You can specify if you prefer a male or female doctor, a French or English speaking doctor.  You are strongly encouraged to find a doctor with whom you feel comfortable, and book your appointments with that doctor whenever possible to ensure continuity of care.

Please note that our receptionists do not have medical training and are not qualified to answer your health questions.  If you have health concerns, ask to speak with a nurse, or leave a detailed message on our answering system and a health professional will contact you as soon as possible.

Prepare for your appointment

Below are some general guidelines to help you prepare for your appointment.  If you are visiting UOHS for a specialized appointment, consult our Services and Programs page for more detailed instructions to help you prepare for your appointment.

Appointment Locations: We have 3 separate clinic locations.  Check your appointment confirmation information for your appointment location.  If you are unsure where your appointment is taking place, contact us at 613-564-3950 and our staff will confirm the location for you.

Parking: Parking is available at or near all our clinic locations.  Consult the uOttawa Parking Map for a map of parking lots near 100 Marie Curie and 801 King Edward. Covered and outdoor parking are also available at the Rideau Centre located across 1 Nicholas.  Free and metered street parking can also be found within walking distance from all our locations.

Public Transportation: Parking can be a challenge to find at peak times for our clinics located on the University of Ottawa main campus. OC Transpo passes by the University of Ottawa and may be a good transportation alternative to consider. Visit OC Transpo's website for bus routes and schedules.

Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment:  To avoid being late for your appointment, give yourself an extra 15 minutes to find parking, get to the clinic, check in with Reception and complete any required forms for your visit.  If you arrive late for your appointment, your doctor or health professional may not be able to see you and you may be required to reschedule your appointment.

Medical Forms: Certain types of visit require specific documentation.  Consult our Services and Programs page to determine if you will need to fill out any forms for your specific appointment.

Glasses and Special Equipment: Remember to bring your glasses in case you need to fill out forms. Also bring any equipment (braces, shoes, orthotics, etc.) you may need to help our health professionals better assess you and your condition.
