The University of Ottawa Health Services (UOHS) is a dynamic group of doctors, allied health care professionals, and support staff dedicated to improving the health of our student population and inner city community through a patient centered interdisciplinary team approach focused on prevention, early intervention programs and several specialized chronic disease programs.  We are committed to delivering timely, quality and collaborative assessment, treatment and health promotion, in a supportive and caring environment that is open and transparent to social, ethnic, and income factors. Please note that we are not formally associated with the University Of Ottawa Faculty Of Medicine and do not train medical students or residents, however some Sports Med MDs do take students/residents on electives or as part of the Sports Med Fellowship program.

We are looking for 2 or more sports medicine physicians to establish their practice in our clinic. Shifts are available weekdays between 8 am and 4:30 pm.  We provide care to athletes, uOttawa and St Paul students and staff, and members of our community of all ages and skill level. Our collaborative group consists of several sports medicine physicians, physiotherapists, athletic therapists, physiatrists, and an orthopedic surgeon.

The successful candidate must be licensed to practice in Ontario. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to inter-professional care are essential.
