Walk-in shifts available – Downtown Ottawa Opportunity
The University of Ottawa Health Services (UOHS) is a dynamic group of doctors, allied health care professionals, and support staff dedicated to improving the health of our student population and inner city community through a patient centered interdisciplinary team approach focused on prevention, early intervention programs and several specialized chronic disease programs. The UOHS Urgent Care/Walk-in Clinic is a busy clinic open to University of Ottawa students, faculty and staff, other patients registered to a UOHS family physician as well as members of the general public. Please note that we are not formally associated with the University Of Ottawa Faculty Of Medicine and do not train medical students or residents.
We are looking to fill several walk-in shifts on a regular or casual basis. Available shifts vary, however the walk-in clinic hours are: weekdays 8 am to 8 pm, weekends 10 am to 2 pm. The successful candidate must be licensed to practice in Ontario. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to inter-professional care are essential. Lastly, experience in a high-volume setting would be an asset.
