Walk-in Clinic open to everyone!
Walk-in clinic open to everyone!
Do you live or work downtown? Do you need to see a doctor after 5pm or on the weekend but your doctor's office isn't open? Our walk-in clinic is open 7 days a week for your convenience.

Our physicians and other health care professionals are available to help you with your non-emergent health care needs.

Our walk-in clinic provides medical walk-in clinic services without an appointment.  Centrally located on the University of Ottawa campus, we are open to all. We are especially convenient for individuals who work or live downtown as we provide easy access to healthcare in a clean, modern and friendly environment.  We strive to provide the best possible care whenever you need it.

Our walk-in clinic is open to people of all ages, including Quebec residents.  We offer convenient access to advice, assessment and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries such as cuts, bruises, minor infections, sprains and skin complaints.  We also offer flu shots and TB testing.

There may be a waiting time to see the walk-in physician or nurse. If you have a family physician or nurse practitioner at UOHS, please call us before coming to the walk-in clinic. Your doctor may have an appointment slot free to see you the same day or the next.

Notify our reception staff when you arrive if you are here to see the nurse for an injection such as a flu shot, allergy shot, TB test or other injection. Since you will need to wait twenty minutes after an injection (in case of an adverse reaction), you will need to register with the walk-in reception staff at least 30 minutes before the clinic’s closing time.
