University of Ottawa student delegates win Distinguished Delegation Award at the National Model United Nations (NMUN)

OTTAWA, April 22, 2010 — During the National Model United Nations (NMUN) Conference, held in New York City from March 30 to April 3, 2010, the University of Ottawa delegates had the opportunity to represent Angola. In fact, they represented their assigned country so well that they received the Distinguished Delegation Award. This is the second of three awards attributed to the best representatives taking part in NMUN, based on the overall delegation performance across all UN model committees.

It is a well deserved award, recognizing the team’s hard work. Heartfelt congratulations to our NMUN delegates.
