uOttawa student and journalist wins Radio-Canada’s young correspondents competition

OTTAWA, May 11, 2010 — University of Ottawa student Anaïs Elboujdaïni, is the grand winner of the Concours jeunes correspondants [external link - in French only] organized by the Société Radio-Canada beating out 800 other aspiring journalists who participated in the competition.

A student in the Faculty of Social Sciences’ joint political science and philosophy program and journalist for the newspaper La Rotonde, Anaïs Elboujdaïni will accompany foreign correspondent Jean-Michel Leprince and director George Amar in Spain where she will actively participate in foreign media stories for the television shows Téléjournal and Une heure sur Terre.
