A Student Honoured a Second Time for Work With Youth

OTTAWA, July 16, 2010  —  Natalie Andrews, a University of Ottawa Master’s student in biochemistry, has been recognized for her work with youth. She has just received a Canadian Institutes of Health Research Synapse Mentorship Award for developing interactive visits for high school students to the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute’s Cancer Centre.  She organizes these visits as part of her volunteer work for the Let’s Talk Science organization.
