A concert of chamber music ensembles, conducted by David Jalbert, will be offered by the School of Music of the Faculty of Arts.The programme will include Patrick Roux’s Alla Piazolla for Guitar Quartet; Fauré’s Piano Quartet No. 2 in G minor, Opus 45, Movement III; Englund’s Sonata for Violin and Piano; Stravinsky’s Wind Octet; Crumb’s Vox Balaenae (Voice of the Whale); Prokofiev’s Quintet, Opus 39; Grieg’s String Quartet; and Schuman’s Sonata for Violin and Piano in A Minor, Opus 105.
