Fun with the sun

Did you know that as little as 290,000 square kilometers of solar panels with 20% efficiency (barely 2% of the earth’s land surface) could meet the world’s energy needs in 2010? In Fun with the sun, you’ll help build simple circuits to learn about converting sunlight to electricity and then explore the challenges of using solar energy to meet our daily needs.

In the footsteps of Galileo
