About Humanitarian Relief Week
The University of Ottawa is holding its first-ever Humanitarian Relief Week from January 31 to February 4, 2011. The initiative highlights the University’s collective commitment to global citizenship and to supporting individuals around the world who are in need of assistance. All week, members of the campus community can get a “Global Citizen” button to wear in support of world emergency aid. The buttons are available in boxes across campus, while supplies last. We encourage all community members to wear their button proudly, to make a donation and to take part in the activities planned. All events take place in room 112 of Tabaret Hall.
