OTTAWA, February 28, 2011  —  The University of Ottawa salutes the performance of Ontario captain Rachel Homan during the Scotties Tournament of Hearts 2011, which ended on Sunday, February 27. Homan, a student in the School of Human Kinetics, and her team made it to the bronze medal match in the Canadian women’s curling championship, which took place in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The entire University of Ottawa community wishes to congratulate Rachel and her team.
