Pierre Razoux, director of the North Africa and Middle-East research program at the NATO Defense College, will give a lecture titled La crise du monde arabe: Enjeux et perspectives. Concert: University of Ottawa Cello Ensemble

The School of Music presents a concert by the University of Ottawa Cello Ensemble, directed by Paul Marleyn, featuring Noah James, Evan Buttar, Alejandro Calzadilla, Raphael Weinroth-Browne, Jonathan Poenn, Sophie Stryniak, Gabriella Ruiz Rueda Arambula, Deanna Bourne, Carol Tsai and Jordan Dick. Expert Panel on Sustainability in Aquaculture

The expert panel on sustainability in aquaculture will focus on success and sustainability in cage salmon aquaculture in Canada. Panellists include Trevor Swerdfager, director general of Fisheries and Oceans Canada; Ruth Salmon, executive director of the Canadian Aquaculture Industry Alliance; John Werring, aquatic habitat specialist at the David Suzuki Foundation; and Tillman J. Benfey, professor and director of Animal Care in the Department of Biology at the University of New Brunswick. This event, organized by the Telfer School of Management in collaboration with the Canadian Fisheries, Oceans, and Aquaculture Management (C-FOAM), will be held in English.
