The University of Ottawa has reached an agreement with its part-time professors
OTTAWA, May 14, 2011 — The University of Ottawa is proud to announce that an agreement in principle has been made with its Association of Part-Time Professors (APTPUO).
“The University never doubted it could reach an agreement that would prove satisfactory to both parties. Our part-time professors contribute tremendously to our mission and to the education of our students. We’re therefore delighted that an agreement was worked out to the satisfaction of both the University and the APTPUO,” indicated François Houle, vice-president Academic at the University of Ottawa.
While the terms are still confidential, we expect both parties to ratify the agreement in the upcoming days.
