Partnership between the Language Technologies Research Centre and uOttawa

OTTAWA, July 15, 2011  —  The University of Ottawa’s School of Translation and Interpretation is pleased to announce its partnership with the Language Technologies Research Centre (LTRC). This partnership comes as part of the virtual integration of the Collection of Electronic Resources in Translation Technologies (CERTT) within a language technologies toolbox currently under development. The toolbox is scheduled for release in Canadian universities in September 2011.

CERTT contains tutorials, exercises and other useful information to help translation students and their trainers make better use of a wide range of translation and terminology tools. The language technologies toolbox will use virtualization software to integrate a number of translation tools.
