MEDIA ADVISORY: Charles R. Bronfman Lecture in Canadian Studies
OTTAWA, September 30, 2011 — The University of Ottawa’s Institute of Canadian studies will host its Charles R. Bronfman Lecture, which has always been one of the season’s highlights. This year’s conference entitled: Le Canada à l'heure des changements climatiques will be presented by Steven Guilbeault, who will discuss the topic of climate change in Canada. The conference is held on an annual basis since 1994, and is designed to bring into focus a leading personality who has made a significant contribution to the study of Canada.
What:Charles R. Bronfman Lecture in Canadian Studies
When: Tuesday October 4, 2011, 7 p.m.
Where: Tabaret Hall, room 112 (550 Cumberland Street, Ottawa)
The lecture is given in one or the other of Canada’s official languages, on an alternating basis. This year’s lecture will be presented in French.
