I take an interdisciplinary approach to Indigenous peoples' issues including work involving Aboriginal rights and Treaty rights as understood from the perspective of Canadian law, International law and Indigenous legal traditions. Main areas of focus currently include Indigenous Identity and citizenship, Metis issues, Treaty interpretation and modern Treaties, Indigenous self-determination and sovereignty, critical Indigenous theory, decolonization Indigenous justice reform, and Indigenous legal traditions.
