Environmental law, particularly the role of courts in environmental disputes.  Focus on rules of procedure and the challenges of litigating environmental problems.  Particular focus on class actions, pre-trial injunctions, and rules of standing and interveners.  Effect of environmental ethics and environmental principles on procedure and other aspects of environmental law. Precautionary Principle, GMOs. Environmental torts.
