  CAMPAIGNS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS (CHR) CAMPAIGNS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS is an international movement to eliminate, not just protest, one important inhumanity after another.  It campaigns with dignity, using only the pressure of worldwide public opinion. But it sticks exclusively to a stated objective, campaigning with grim persistence until the stated objective is won, before moving on to another objective.

All CHR workers are voluntary, busy professors who donatetime and energy. Moral support is invited by others.
There are 9 Directors, each a Nobel Laureate and amongthe supporters are 127 Nobel Laureates, 525 Fellows of
thr Royal Society(UK), more than 500 Members of the National Academy(USA) and thousands of others in many
countries.  The present objective of CHR is to freethe people of BURMA and their neighbours from the brutal
oppression of the SLORC military regime.
