STRATEGIC PLANNING

Our team of energetic professionals provides a full range of planning services, from campus-development projects to work-space design inside your office. Faculties and Services can call on our expertise to help them both determine their actual needs and how best to meet them.

We adopt and apply standards thanks to which all project designs not only abide by the principles set out in the University's Master Plan, but also promote effective space planning. In addition, our sector provides for the integrated management of the University's capital-project portfolio; in the process, we balance the needs of faculties and services when it comes to building maintenance and service life.

Finally, we program or schedule physical-resource projects according to the University's vision, to available funding and to Board-approved investment priorities




Here's a list of specific functions for our sector :

• Design, fine-tune and implement the University's Master Plan
• Help academic and administrative units determine and meet their space needs (link to Policy 95)
• Plan for all capital projects and major renovations
• Update and maintain construction plans and records
• Manage the assets portfolio
