Undergraduate Programs Evaluation Survey
All undergraduate academic programs at the University of Ottawa are reviewed every seven years on a rotating basis. The Evaluation of Undergraduate Programs helps the University maintain and improve the quality and relevance of its bachelor and certificate programs when necessary. As part of this evaluation, the units concerned must submit a self-evaluation report first to the Senate Committee, and then to two externals reviewers. This report is mainly based on statistical data (i.e. number of admissions, length of studies before graduation, grade distribution) provided by the Institutional Research and Planning service as well as on the results of a survey conducted by this same service.
The Undergraduate Program Evaluation Survey is conducted among graduating students and graduates of the programs being evaluated in a given year. Participants have the opportunity to express their opinions about their undergraduate experience at the University and indicate their level of satisfaction with their program. Graduates are also invited to share information about their employment situation since completing their studies.
