UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS EVALUATION SURVEY 2007

HIGHLIGHTS

Institutional Research and Planning conducted an online survey aimed at measuring student satisfaction of particular undergraduate programs of study at the University of Ottawa. Below are some key results for the programs under evaluation in 2007 and a summary of the employment situation of graduates by program.

Common Law:

Overall Satisfaction
Overall level of satisfaction within the program of studies:

  • 86% of current students and 93% of graduates said they would recommend the program to others.
  • 82% of current students and 91% of graduates said the program met or exceeded their expectations.

This survey also allows us to collect information about the employment situation of our graduates.

  • 92% of graduates participating in the survey said that they are currently employed.
  • Among those currently employed, 94% indicated that their job is related to their field of study and 93% reported that they are satisfied with their employment.
  • In addition, 17% of graduates enrolled in a graduate program after obtaining their degree.

Environmental Studies:
