National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)
Since 2005, the University of Ottawa has participated in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), administered by the Indiana University Centre for Post-Secondary Research. The objective of this survey is to measure the extent to which students engage in effective educational activities that the institution provides for their learning and personal development. In the context of the multi-year accountability agreements with the Ministry of Training, Collleges and Universities.
