CRASH COURSE
157 CAUSES OF COLLISIONS AND HOW TO PREVENT THEM

I am appalled by the injuries and death so many people suffer on the road. . . I don't believe these tragedies had to happen. - Walter Hayduk

According to Walter Hayduk, "there are no accidents." In this book, Hayduk explores the myriad risks drivers take daily, and he proposes safe driving practices to help drivers, passengers and pedestrians to avoid injury or death in an automobile crash.

As a chemical engineer, Hayduk taught at the University of Ottawa for 28 years before retiring. His lifelong interest in traffic safety led him to write this book, which contains a wealth of information about the subject and which delivers a message to drivers to operate their vehicles more safely. He drives a Ford Explorer on the highway and in the winter months and a Taurus sedan for daily commutes.
