Employees only: Access the uOttawa network from home
Gain access to restricted campus sites and resources from, off-campus locations, by using the VPN client with your login credentials.
To access the uOttawa network from home, you need to install the VPN client on your off-campus computer.
How to get the VPN client: two options
- On campus only Download and install the appropriate VPN client, from the software zone either onto your laptop or onto a USB key for transfer to your desktop at home. OR
- Buy the CD from the Cosmos Computer Store, located in the University Bookstore, for $6 (the VPN client and anti-virus are bundled on one CD), and install the VPN client on your home desktop or laptop.
