Students who already have a student card
If you already have a student card, we encourage you to replace it with the new uOttawa card. You can either go to InfoService to get your new uOttawa card.
The new uOttawa card is not mandatory for existing students. However, the University strongly encourages all uOttawa students with an old card to replace it with the new uOttawa card. The old student card will continue to be accepted for student identification, borrowing books and to get access to Sports Services facilities. Students cannot use the old student card for meal plans and, beginning May 1st 2012, the uOttawa card will be required for printing or making photocopies at any of the campus printers, photocopiers or copy centres.
Anyone purchasing a meal plan will need the new uOttawa card. Beginning May 1st 2012, the new card will be required for all photocopying and printing purchases.
