September 2013

As of September, your uOttawa card and Discover uOttawa card can now be used at the following locations:

  • The Draft Pub (meal plans and flex plans)
  • Le bac-a-frites (meal plans and flex plans)
  • Stone Soup Foodworks (meal plans and flex plans)
  • Relish food truck (meal plans and flex plans)
  • Science Store (Marion lab third floor)
  • 15 new vending machines

 

March 2013

Once the new Cafe Nostalgica opens, it will accept both meal plans and flex plans on your uOttawa card.  It will also accept Discover uOttawa cards.

 

December 2012

11 vending machines have been equipped with uOttawa card and Discover uOttawa card payment readers.

 

October 2012

Students can now use their uOttawa card to confirm their presence at all SASS locations on campus.

 

September 2012

You can now use your uOttawa and Discover uOttawa cards for payment of late fees at the Fauteux and Roger Guindon libraries, in addition to the Morisset library.

 

August 2012

Your uOttawa card and Discover uOttawa card can now be used at the following locations:

  • Community Life Service
  • The Draft Pub (flex only)
  • Le bac-a-frites (flex only)

 

June 2012

We’ve started to add more locations on campus where you can use your uOttawa and Discover uOttawa cards. These include

  • Payments at the Morisset Library
  • Academic Writing Help Center (AWHC)
  • Several more will be added before September 2011

Your meal plan and flex dollars can now be used at the following locations:

  • Pivik
  • Cafe Alt
  • 1848

July 2011

Beginning in September 2011, the University of Ottawa will replace its existing student card. Every new uOttawa student will receive the newly designed uOttawa card. Students with an old version of the card should go to the uOttawa card office or InfoService to get their new card at no cost.

What's new with the uOttawa card?

  • New look
  • Smarter card technology
    • Reduced line-ups
    • Several cards combined into one (for meal plans, photocopies and printing, etc.)
    • Funds are protected if your card is lost or stolen
  • Online functions:
    • Students can add funds and check balances and transactions
    • Parental access to add funds (add fund function only; no access to account balances)
  • Wide variety of on campus purchases possible
