From March 1 to March 31, each time you deposit money online into your uOttawa Card Flex Account, your student number will be entered for the Win double your deposit draw. You could win double the value of your initial deposit, up to a maximum of $500. Two student numbers will be drawn at random on April 1, 2013. As an example, if you deposit $25, you could take home an additional $25. And if you deposit $300 initially, you could win the maximum prize of $500 extra dollars.
CONTEST DETAILS
- Deposits must be made between March 1 and March 31 inclusively.
- Deposits must be made into a uOttawa Card Flex Account.
- Deposits must be made online (those made in person or at uOttawa card machines are not eligible).
- Every deposit qualifies you for an entry; no entry limits apply.
- The draw takes place April 1, 2013.
- Two winners will be drawn at random.
- If you win, you will be notified by email (uOttawa email).
- The amount won will be deposited on the very day of the draw, and it cannot be exchanged, transferred or reimbursed.
- The names of the winners will be posted on this page.

The draw takes place on March 1, 2013. See the list of vending machines locations to find out which machines accept the uOttawa card.

Buy a meal plan and you could win double the amount of flex dollars!
It pays to buy a meal plan!
Each meal plan purchase gives you the chance to double the amount of flex dollars included in your plan! One winner will be drawn at random on September 21, 2012.
The winning amount varies according to the meal plan that you purchase. For example, if you buy Meal Plan 4 for $3,600 and win, you double the $800 flex portion of your plan. This means that if you are the lucky winner, an extra $800 will be added to your flex account.
Contest details
- Meal plans must be purchased before September 15, 2012.
- Meal plans must be purchased online or in person at uOttawa Card Service.
- The meal plan must be paid for in full.
- There will be one (1) winner drawn from all meal plans sold.
- Only meal plans for the 2012-2013 academic year are eligible.
- The winner will be drawn at random on September 21, 2012.
- The winner will be notified by email sent to his or her uOttawa account.
- The amount will be deposited into the winner’s account on the same day as the draw and cannot be exchanged, transferred or reimbursed.
- Odds of winning depend on the number of plans sold.
- The winner’s name will be published on the uOttawa Card Service web page.

Beginning in September 2011, the University of Ottawa will replace its existing student card. Every new uOttawa student will receive the newly designed uOttawa card. Students with an old version of the card should go to the uOttawa card office or InfoService to get their new card at no cost.
What's new with the uOttawa card?
