Beginning in September 2011, the University of Ottawa will replace its existing student card. Every new uOttawa student will receive the newly designed uOttawa card. Students with an old version of the card should go to the uOttawa card office or InfoService to get their new card at no cost.
What's new with the uOttawa card?
- New look
- Smarter card technology
- Reduced line-ups
- Several cards combined into one (for meal plans, photocopies and printing, etc.)
- Funds are protected if your card is lost or stolen
- Online functions:
- Students can add funds and check balances and transactions
- Parental access to add funds (add fund function only; no access to account balances)
- Wide variety of on campus purchases possible
