Homecoming Kick-Off Breakfast at Father and Sons

8 a.m. – 11 a.m. | Father and Sons, 112 Osgoode Street

Since 1967, this fabled campus institution has been a place where students meet up with some friends or watch a game. Start your Homecoming experience right at F&S, owned by Honorary Member of the Alumni Association Sam Saab.

Alex Trebek Lecture Series: Igniting a New Renaissance

Climate crisis. Spiraling inequality. Technologies spreading farther and faster than our wisdom for handling them. Can we cope with such pressures? Chris Kutarna lays out the historic stakes of the time we live in, and points a path toward a different and more beautiful future.

Revisit old haunts, explore new facilities, or show your children around during a guided walking tour of campus. These personalized, 90-minute tours are held four times a day in French or English.

Tickets to go on sale in August. Stay tuned! Pre-game party at 9:30 a.m. with kick-off at noon | TD Place Stadium, 1015 Bank Street

Alumni and friends will enjoy discounts to attend the pre-game party and cheer on the Garnet and Grey. So don’t miss the battle between the uOttawa Gee-Gees and the Carleton Ravens.

Come Dine with Us

11 a.m. – 2 p.m. | 24/7 Dining Hall, University Centre, 85 University Private

The University’s no-waste dining hall is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to serve the 4,000 students living in residence. Come join these students for a meal and enjoy a special homecoming menu.

October 6

Choir! Choir! Choir!

10:30 a.m. | Huguette Labelle Hall (112), Tabaret Hall, 550 Cumberland Street

Come celebrate music and experience the power of community! This Toronto-based singing group takes a non-traditional approach to choral music: there are no auditions, and the audience IS the choir! Come and let the duo lead us in song in an original arrangement to a well-loved tune. Bravissimo!

Noon | Tabaret Lawn, 550 Cumberland Street

Join fellow alumni, parents, friends, and students for a BBQ lunch on the lawn in front of Tabaret Hall.

2 – 3 p.m. | Minto Sports Complex, 801 King Edward Ave

Lace up a pair of skates and come out for an hour of skating on the Gee-Gees ice rink. Fun for the whole family!
