The Young Researchers' Brain Health Research Day was held on May 9th, 2019  and brought together the broad research community of the University of Ottawa Brain and Mind Research Institute (uOBMRI) and The Royal's Young Researchers. The day featured a keynote address from Dr. Liisa Galea, a world-renowned leader on sex and hormone research and its impact on brain health. Exciting clinical and basic research in Ottawa were also highlighted as attendees heard from researchers from various uOBMRI partners. We were honoured to highlight trainees in our Neuroscience community through trainee oral presentations and poster judging sessions (see below for this year's awardees!). Thank you again to everyone who participated and supported this year's Young Researchers' Brain Health Research Day-we look forward to hosting you in 2020 at Roger Guindon Hall!
