Santanu Chakraborty


Dr. Santanu Chakraborty joined Diagnostic Neuroradiology section in 2006 after having completed a neuroadiology fellowship at the University of Toronto. He completed his radiology residency in UK and became a Fellow of Royal College of Radiologists, UK. He completed 2 year Neuroradiology subspecialty training in The Walton Centre for Neurosciences, Liverpool, UK. Prior to this, he graduated from the University of Calcutta, India in 1993. He did his MRCP (UK) in 1998. His main interest is in Advanced MR imaging including fMRI, MR spectroscopy, CT and MR perfusion. Dr. Charaborty has been involved in the VP Programs here in the Department of Medical Imaging as well as the CME. He is currently involved in the improvements in Information Technology concerning specifically Imaging Informatics. He is actively involved in research.
