  • Molecular mechanism of the blood-brain barrier (BBB), ABC transporters, BBB modeling, modulation, and pathology.
  • Pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease and stroke.
  • Molecular mechanisms of inflammation, including the expression and regulation of inflammatory genes and signal transduction pathways in neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Transfusion and neurological diseases.
