Dr. Shawn Marshall was interviewed by the Ottawa Citizen about updated Ontario concussion recovery guidelines for healthcare providers and a new user-friendly version for patients. 

Dr. Eve Tsai was interviewed by Global News about a U.S. study that found a paralyzed man was able to walk again after an electronic stimulator was placed in his spine.

Dr. Mark Freedman and Dr. Harry Atkins were interviewed for a feature story on stem cell transplantation for aggressive multiple sclerosis. The story, which appears on The Ottawa Hospital Foundation’s website, profiles one of the first patients who participated in their trial.

Drs. Clare Liddy and Erin Keely were interviewed by YouAreUNLTD about the Champlain BASE eConsult web tool which lets family doctors submit questions to specialists. It has already helped around 80,000 people in Ontario.

The Ottawa Hospital’s new NeuroMuscular Centre was featured in The Ottawa Hospital Journal. Drs. Robin Parks and Jodi Warman Chardon were interviewed about the impact on patients, including the opportunity for neuromuscular research and clinical trials.
