Congratulations to Dr. Ruth Slack, along with collaborators Dr. Louis-Eric Trudeau, Dr. David Park and Dr. Michelle Desjardin, was awarded a grant from the Krembil Foundation for $1,003, 002! The grant, "Reshaping Mitochondrial Efficiency and Integrity to Treat Parkinson’s Disease " aims to find a novel approach to treat PD.
Introducing the uOttawa Clinical Exercise Physiology Lab
Dr. Lara Pilutti runs the Clinical Exercise Physiology Lab at the University of Ottawa. The goal of her research program is to optimize the accessibility of physical activity and exercise for people with both progressive and relapsing-remitting MS. Her team is specifically interested in providing exercise programs for MS patients with a higher disability level or for those using assistive mobility devices such as walkers or wheelchairs.

Plusieurs visites et ateliers de 30 minutes seront offerts entre 10 h et 16 h et donneront aux visiteurs un aperçu de ce qui se déroule à la seule et unique Faculté de médecine à Ottawa.
