About Snow Festival

From February 3 to 7, 2020, enjoy winter by participating in the annual uOttawa Snow Festival.

The festival has become a real tradition on campus. Students spend their breaks outside despite the cold weather to partake in winter activities. 

Explore all the events, grab your friends, and let’s celebrate the wintertime together!

Free beavertails and hot chocolate

A campus tradition, get your free beavertails and hot chocolate every day this week from 11 a.m.!

Better yet, Skip the Line with RBC and guarantee yourself a treat by simply hitting a target with a snowball.

Fishing Shack

Try your hand at fishing in our traditional fishing shack. It’s simple: catch a fish and win a great prize!

Indigenous Games

Play Indigenous winter games hosted in partnership with the Indigenous Resource Centre on Tabaret Lawn!

Tubing

Experience the rush of going down a snow-covered mountain by tubing with us in Gatineau!

Transportation will be provided to and from the park. Cost of $10 will be payable upon arrival at the bus.

To register, email program@uOttawa.ca. Space is limited!

Students below the age of 18 will have to provide a waiver signed by their parent/guardian.

Sugar Shack Lunch

Feast on a traditional sugar shack lunch that is sure to satisfy any appetite. Served with real Canadian maple syrup!

Lumberjack Day

Your perfect excuse to wear plaid this season! Join us for lumberjack inspired winter activities on Tabaret Lawn including campfires and giant wooden games.
