Biographie

Melanie Mallet has worked in law reform, and in policy research and development in relation to environmental, health, professional regulation, and Aboriginal issues.

Professor Mallet has been a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Common Law since 2005. She has been a full time sessional professor since 2012 and teaches or has taught: Introduction to Public Law and Legislation, Constitutional Law II (Federalism and Aboriginal Peoples of Canada); Constitutional Law I (Charter of Rights and Freedoms); the Dean’s Research and Writing Fellowship; and, Principles of Legal Research. Professor Mallet is the co-editor of Métis-Crown Relations: Rights, Identity, Jurisdiction, and Governance (Irwin Law, 2008).
