CEED instructor and learners in the Makerspace

The uOttawa Richard L’Abbé Makerspace, located in the STEM Complex, is an invent-build-play space featuring 3D Printers, Arduinos, CNC Mills, Handibots, and Laser Cutters. Workshops are offered throughout the semester for students to learn how to use these technologies for personal, entrepreneurial, and academic projects. 

The workshops are free and open to students of all faculties.  

The workshops include: 

  • Introduction to 3D printing 

  • CAD Modeling Basics (Fusion 360) for beginners 

  • Introduction to Arduino 

  • Virtual Reality for beginners 

  • And more! 

Register in advance; spots fill up quickly.
