Awarded to graduate students in each master's and doctoral programs who have demonstrated academic excellence through their overall average and research capabilities as well as demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities related to the Faculty of Medicine or in the community.
Best Thesis Award
Awarded to graduate students in all master's and doctoral programs who wrote the most outstanding thesis.
Graduate Studies Mentorship Award
This prize is awarded to a graduate student who has made an outstanding contribution to the mentoring of other graduate students within the Faculty of Medicine and/or to science outreach.
The prize recognizes the important role played by graduate students in both the training and professional development of their student colleagues.
The prize thus emphasizes the essential role of graduate students in both teaching and research.
Graduate Studies Leadership Award
Awarded to graduate students in each graduate programs who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills within the Faculty of Medicine or in the community.
Postdoctoral Studies
Awards of Excellence
This award acknowledges the important contributions that postdoctoral fellows make to the Faculty of Medicine and recognizes research excellence demonstrated at this career stage.
Leadership Award
Awarded to a postdoctoral fellow who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills within the Faculty of Medicine or in the community.
Postdoctoral Fellows Association Leadership Award - President
This award recognizes dedication, time and effort spent to represent the Faculty of Medicine postdoctoral fellows as a member of the Postdoctoral Fellows Association.
Best Paper AwardÂ
Awarded to the first author (graduate student, postdoctoral fellow or research associate) of the paper recognized by the Faculty of Medicine as the Best paper of the year.
Translational and Molecular Medicine
Awards of Excellence in Translational and Molecular Medicine
Awarded to a TMM student (on in the English Cohort and one in the French cohort) who as successfully completed TMM3009 and demonstrated academic excellence through overall average and research capabilities. The student must have also demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities related to TMM as well as the Faculty of Medicine.
