Canada has become one of the pioneers in developing new disruptor technologies. This session will discuss a) the transformative potential of these technologies to solve major organizational and societal problems, b) the role of our universities in helping these technologies to become part of innovations and start-ups in Canada, and c) the larger framework needed to foster clusters of firms in related and emerging high-tech industries in Canada rather than abroad.
