Our researchers can make major discoveries
Our researchers are working hard to understand the workings of COVID-19, so that they can contribute to new treatments and vaccines.
Dr. Tracey O’Sullivan is expanding her ground-breaking work on aging-in-place in the context of COVID-19, researching how living in one’s home safely, independently, and comfortably regardless of age, income, or ability, can help alleviate the pressures on formal care services during public health crises.
Dr. Stephanie Gaudet is studying how to support young people — who increasingly are suffering from psychological distress at this moment — by giving them the tools to innovate and participate in social and political life, and to help build a better society post-Covid-19.
Dr. Robert Delatolla and a research team at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Engineering are exploring how wastewater testing could be used to detect future waves of coronavirus.
Your gift to our COVID-19 research fund will provide a flexible and agile source of funding for these and many more such projects.
Even a small gift will go a long way.
Thank you for your generosity in a time of collective hardship. Your support matters now more than ever.
