The uOGRADflix information session will show you how easy it can be to make a great video – even if all you have is a smartphone. The session covers everything you need to know to create a 60-second video, including: uOGRADflix Competition guidelines, copyright guidelines, video best practices, scripting, technology tools, software options, other resources. It also offers tips on communicating with non-specialist audiences.
The 2021 uOGRADflix Competition information session will be held on August 10, 2021.
French Presentation at 10 a.m.
English Presentation at 1 p.m.
The feedback sessions are flexible, informal (virtual) spaces that are set up to help you create, refine, or finish your uOGRADflix submission. Have a copy of your video ready to share with staff or use this time to work on your submission. Staff will be on hand to provide feedback and to answer questions about video best practices. The link to attend will be sent to participants by email before the drop-in session.

When creating your video, be sure to keep copyright in mind. Since your video will be posted online, you need to make sure that you are using third-party content properly. To avoid complications due to copyright issues, be sure to take a look at the resources provided by uOttawa’s Copyright Office.
