Winter parking facility closures
As with most of the University’s operations, COVID-19 has required us to make changes to the way we manage parking at uOttawa. Please note that some exterior parking lots will be closed for the Winter, from December 1, 2020 to May 15, 2021. The following facilities will remain open: Lots K, P, T, C, B G2, G3, H, R, and all garages. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
How to pick the right permit
Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 situation, monthly permits will be the only type of permit available until further notice. This means that parking permits must be re-purchased online or by appointment each month. Pre-sale begins five business days before the end of the month.
If you will be parking on Main Campus before 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday, choose a Main Campus permit. This permit is also valid for parking on other campuses.
If you will be parking at 200 Lees, Roger Guindon Hall or the Alta Vista Campus, choose Roger-Guindon/Alta Vista/Lees. This permit is also valid on Main Campus ONLY on weekends and after 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. If you will occasionally be parking on Main Campus before 4 p.m. please choose Main Campus or pay the daily rate at the Pay & Display machine.
For motorcycle parking on any campus, choose Motorcycle.

Purchase a permit
Permits are now available to purchase online and in-person. The Parking and Sustainable Transportation office is currently seeing clients by appointment only (see below).
Monthly permits can be purchased online with a credit card only.
If you need to pay by debit card please book an appointment. We apologize for the inconvenience but cash cannot be accepted.
