In February, we kicked off the Procurement-to-Pay (P2P) Reengineering project by launching a series of workshops aimed at understanding the current state of uOttawa P2P processes. These are now complete, and we would like to thank participants for their input and time.
We held a total of sixteen workshops focussing on each process of the P2P cycle. The conversations the workshops generated are invaluable. Participants were very generous in sharing their knowledge of the processes in place in your faculty or service, discussing the challenges they face, and proposing areas for improvement.
In a few weeks, the consulting firm hired to facilitate these workshops will submit recommendations for improvements based on industry best practices and the University’s organization. These recommendations will be presented in the form of a report, which will be shared with all participants for content visibility. The project team will then prioritize the proposed recommendations and launch a second phase to deploy rapid gains and plan more complex improvements.
