We’re inviting all members of the University community to suggest administrative processes that could be fixed or improved. The main purpose of this project is to quickly review and resolve financial and human resources process inefficiencies and “pain points” identified by process owners. We call these improvements “quick wins.” The processes can be used by Financial Resources or Human Resources, or by other services or faculties.
- Identifying areas of opportunity with high added value to reduce the administrative burden for professors, researchers, employees and students.
- Transforming operations into value-added activities.
- Improving and streamlining the selected processes.
- Ensuring a significant reduction in administrative roadblocks.
How to submit a request
Use the Request to simplify a process form.
The project team will determine whether your request should be chosen (see selection criteria), as well as what priority to give it, if applicable.
We will follow up on each request and give you the reasons for project team’s decision, whether or not it chooses your request.
Importance of participation
We encourage you to participate because you know the needs of your faculty or service better than anyone else and are an important uOttawa stakeholder. You also are a change agent for your employees.
