Project purpose

This project aims to procure a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to help analyze and run the University’s financial and human resource operations. Once we select an ERP system, a company will be chosen to integrate our various information systems, simplified processes, and data into the new system.

This project is part of the Administrative Services Modernization Program.

Objectives

This project specifically aims to select an ERP system by taking into account user needs and identifying the key partners that are required for its implementation. In addition to selecting the system, and to ensure that users are fully supported in managing financial and human resources, the project will allow the University to:

  • Standardize its data, make this data easily accessible, and limit duplication while ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Simplify and rationalize applications so that they are easier to update and maintain
  • Improve the user experience of professors, researchers, students, and employees
  • Review current processes in order to model the University’s administrative services on industry best practices

Once we have selected an ERP system, a company will be chosen to integrate our various information systems, simplified processes, and data into the new system.
