Congratulations to the Positive Energy Research Team member and Doctoral Candidate in Public Administration at the University of Ottawa Sébastien Girard Lindsay, for receiving an Ontario Senior Scholarship (OGS) for the year 2019-2020, as well as a scholarship of excellence from the Vice-Provost Cabinet for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

The ISSP is delighted to announce that Brendan Frank will be Interim Research Director while Dr. Marisa Beck is on maternity leave. Brendan joins the ISSP as Senior Research Association for two years, the first of which will be as Interim Research Director.
Mr. Frank comes to the ISSP after three years as Research Associate at Canada’s Ecofiscal Commission. His training is in science (Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Queen’s University) and public policy (Master’s in Public Policy, University of Calgary), and he possesses strong research and knowledge mobilisation experience in the public, private and civic sectors. Brendan has worked previously with Natural Resources Canada and ATCO and works on a volunteer basis as Policy Director for the Youth Climate Lab in Ottawa.
